Traditional Games

Features awesome images of traditional games commonly played by children. Such games use simple native materials or instruments, which make the process more interesting and challenging. These games include the 'Kayram' (Carrom), a game for a minimum of 2 players, with the objective of shooting wooden chips on holes around the four corners of a board. The 'Theela', or marble game, which involves 2 to 6 players, from ages 8 to 13, whereinmarbles are shoot into target holes on the ground. There's the traditional 'domino' game, which is played with very little variations by the locals. A very interesting game is the 'Srilango', wherein a ball is thrown into a stack of empty tin cans and two teams of players chase each other around it.
