Al Waraqoon W.L.L. Managing Partner Mr. Mohammed Bu Hasan led the publishing and communication’s delegation to the 63rd Frankfurt Book Fair held at Frankfurt Trade Fair in Germany, Oct. 12 – 16. The Frankfurt Book Fair was a premier event and venue for Al Waraqoon to promote its line of books highlighting Arabian culture, tradition and heritage. Top of the line book “Bahraini Hands”, acclaimed as Bahrain’s Best Book of the Year in 2004 and other successfully launched books of the company were brought on display. Al Waraqoon’s participation at this event is indeed an indication of the company’s commitment to promote Arabian culture, tradition and heritage. This effort is not confined only to Bahraini and the neighboring Arab nations but the whole world as well.

Al Waraqoon participated in the 21st Abu Dhabi International Book Fair on the 15th to 20th March 2011 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center in the United Arab Emirates. The company represented Bahrain with numerous book titles which highlighted the Gulf heritage in glossy photo-documentary style and well-researched information. The popular titles, a few of which gained industry recognition and awards for Al Waraqoon W.L.L., include ‘Bahraini Hands’, ‘Gulf Mosque’, ‘Arabian Swords’, ‘Arabian Coffee’, and ‘The Life in a Misbah’.

Alwaraqoon W.L.L. participated in the exhibition during the 3rd Arab Youth Media Forum held on the 6th to 7th of December 2010 in Amman, Jordan, under
the patronage of the Prime Minister Samir Rifai of Jordan, the presence of her Royal Highness Princess Rym Ali of Jordan, and the founder of the Jordan Media Institute.
