Despite the predominantly dry desert conditions, a full range of dazzling images on animals which thrive in the desert region are plenty.  They have incredible adaptations to cope with the lack of water, the extreme temperatures, and the shortage of food. There are different animals living in the different types of deserts. Such animals include the 'Dromedary' or Arabian camels, the so-called 'ships of the desert'. And there's the royal breed of Arabian stallions. On the winged species, there's the 'Peregrine' or the 'Saker' falcon, which are commonly used in the sport of falconry. A wide range of migratory birds also proliferate in the island during the change of seasons. A whole kingdom of marine species also abound the coastlines.
